Happy Back to school. I'm back and I really need to pay attention to this blog. I just read about a new book that was just released a few days ago for kindergarten teachers. It is Kindergarten Common CoreWorkbook and it has six hundred pages of both language arts and math standards and worksheets etc to help us support these new standards. I downloaded the preview and it's outstanding. You can check it out by going to
http://core.commonstandards.com/core-curriculum/kindergarten-common-core-workbook/. I'm telling you this is really going to help focus on each standard the way it should be taught the first time around. There are also other grade levels too just in case you teach a combo.
